Born on March 13, 1992, in Seoul, South Korea, Kim Myung-soo, professionally known as L, is a South Korean singer and actor. Discovering his talent while still in high school, L caught the attention of Woollim Entertainment through a street casting, becoming the first member of the idol group Infinite, in June 2010. Parallel to his music career, L ventured into acting, making his debut in the Japanese drama Jiu Keishicho Tokushuhan Sousagakari in 2011. He continued to expand his acting portfolio with roles in tvN's Flower Band and MBC's sitcom What's The Deal, Mom? In collaboration with fellow bandmates Sungyeol and Sungjong, he formed the subgroup Infinite F, releasing both a Japanese single album, Koi No Sign, in November 2014, and a Korean album, Love Sign, in December 2014. Shifting his focus to acting for the next three years, L made a return to his music career by releasing his debut single album titled Memory on February 3, which peaked at number 5 on the charts. In 2023, he marked his comeback with new single, "moments (明日に向かって/この場所で)," which charted at 38, following this with EP 24/7 in August, 2024.
