Kristin Diable, is an American musician, singer, and songwriter from New Orleans, Louisiana. She started her career as a teenager performing in underground clubs in south Louisiana. At 18, she moved to New York City, gaining mainstream music industry attention. In 2009, Diable released her first solo EP Extended Play via Speakeasy Records. Her debut album Kristin Diable and the City (2013) received critical regional acclaim, with songs featured on HBO's True Blood and Treme. In 2015, she released Create Your Own Mythology, which was named one of American Songwriter Magazine's top 50 Records and received attention from NPR. Diable also starred in the short film Forever Waves (2017), earning an Award of Excellence in the Best Shorts Competition.
