KREC

KREC, a Russian rap group from Saint Petersburg, was formed in 2001 by Artyom Brovkov, known as Fuze. The band's initial lineup included beatmaker Marat and later featured Alexei Kosov, known as Assai. KREC released their debut album Вторжение (Invasion) in 2002, followed by Нет волшебства (No Magic) in 2003, which marked a turning point in Russian rap and was later recognized as one of the ten main Russian rap albums by Colta.ru. The group's style, characterized by "lyrics of light sadness," gained significant attention. In 2006, they released По реке (By the River), featuring the song "Нежность" ("Tenderness") used in the film OST for Питер FM (Piter FM). Members began focusing on solo projects from 2007 onwards, with Fuze releasing Meloman. In 2013, KREC welcomed guitarist Denis Harlashin and vocalist Lubov Vladimirova.
