Koya Nitta

Koya Nitta (born March 8, 1944 in Yanagawa, Date City, Fukushima Prefecture) is a Japanese enka singer.He began his singing career in 1959 as a group job and made his record debut in 1976 with the album " Akyu's My Heart's Port Town " planned by lyricist Akyu. He then released a number of singles, including " Yume sasurai " (1990), "My mother's sakura" (2015), " As I was born in the Showa era " (2016), " Showa no nai utatai " (2024), and " Run, Showa no shounen yo " (2025). His best albums include " Utajin - AkiyaNittaBest Album" (2016) and " Utajin 2 - Akiya Nitta Best Album" (2019), and he has gained a strong following for his enka activities over the years. Through covers and originals, he continues to carry on the traditional singing of Showa-era songs.
