Kobushi Factory

Kobushi Factory was a Japanese idol group formed on January 2, 2015, under the Hello! Project by its founder Tsunku♂. The group initially consisted of eight members from the Hello! Pro Kenshūsei and Nice Girl Project training programs. Kobushi Factory made their debut with the DVD single "Nen ni wa Nen / Survivor" in March 2015, which featured songs from the musical Week End Survivor. Their first major CD single, "Dosukoi! Kenkyo ni Daitan / Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san no Uta / Nen ni wa Nen (Nen’iri Ver.)", was released on September 2, 2015. The group's first album, Kobushi Sono Ichi, followed in November 2016. Throughout their career, Kobushi Factory released several notable singles, including "Sakura Night Fever / Chotto Guchoku ni! Chototsu Mōshin / Osu! Kobushi Tamashii" and "Shalala! Yareru Hazu sa / Eejanaika Ninjanai ka". The group experienced significant changes in membership, with several key members departing between 2017 and 2018. Despite these challenges, they continued to release music, including their second album Kobushi Dai Ni Maku in October 2019. Kobushi Factory officially disbanded on March 30, 2020, following a final concert at the Tokyo Dome City Hall, which was broadcast live due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
