KOBerrieS♪

KOBerrieS♪ is a Japanese idol group formed in March 2012 as part of the KOBE Pop Culture Project, with the goal of promoting community revitalization and representing all districts of Kobe. Members are selected through auditions from Kobe residents, students, or natives, and each represents a specific ward. Since their official debut in July 2012, KOBerrieS♪ has performed at over 200 local events, establishing themselves as cultural ambassadors for the city. Their national breakthrough came in February 2014 with the single "Mirai Shounen Shoujo", used as the ending theme for the TBS show Akkoniomakase!. Over the years, they’ve collaborated with Kobe-based initiatives, becoming the PR unit for Okamoto Shopping Street and serving as Kobe Port Ambassadors for the city’s 150th anniversary. They were also appointed blood donation ambassadors by the Hyogo Red Cross. Despite major lineup changes in 2016, the group continued to evolve and now aims to headline a solo concert at Kobe International Hall. Their 10th anniversary in 2022 earned them a place in the “Local Idol Hall of Fame.” Their double A-side single "Chiguhagu Communication / Glory Days" was released on September 2, 2015.
