Klezmer Nova, originally known as Orient Express Moving Shnorers, is a French Klezmer group formed in 1995 during a Yiddish festival at La Cartoucherie in Vincennes, Val-de-Marne. The ensemble was led by Pierre Wekstein and initially included musicians from diverse musical backgrounds such as jazz, rock, classical, and improvised music. In 1999, Olivier Hutman joined the group. Klezmer Nova has since performed over 300 concerts across France and Europe and released three albums: Klezmer Nova (2001), under their former name; Delicatessen (2003); and L'entre-Deux (2012).
