Kim Jae Hyung

Kim Jae Hyung (김제형), born on October 7, 1990, in South Korea, is a versatile musician and songwriter who debuted on November 14, 2017, with the EP Acrobatics. Known for his calm voice, intricate arrangements, and genre-defying style, Kim quickly gained recognition as an artist who blends folk, indie, and experimental elements into his music. Kim’s breakout moment came with his first full-length album Sachi in 2020, which resonated deeply with both fans and critics. The album's intricate storytelling and poignant title track, "Failure Story," earned nominations for Best Folk Album and Best Folk Song at the 2021 Korean Music Awards. His ability to weave contrasting genres into cohesive, emotionally rich pieces has become a hallmark of his artistry. Following Sachi, Kim continued to evolve, releasing the project album Open in 2022 and the EP Trapezoid in 2024.
