Kim Barlow, born March 10, 1969 in Montreal, Quebec, is a Canadian folk singer-songwriter. Raised in rural Nova Scotia, she studied classical guitar at Florida State University before moving to the Yukon in the 1990s. Her album Gingerbread (2001) was nominated for Roots and Traditional Album of the Year (Solo) at the Juno Awards of 2003. Barlow has released several albums, including Champ (2007), Saplings (2010), and How to Let Go (2018). She has toured extensively across Canada and internationally, both as a solo artist and with ensembles like the Pan Canadian New Folk Ensemble.
