Killy

Khalil Tatem, known professionally as Killy, was born on August 19, 1997, in Toronto. He began rapping in 2015 and first released music in 2016 on SoundCloud, including “Big Bux.” His breakthrough came with the release of “Killamonjaro” in February 2017, which went viral and was certified Platinum by Music Canada in January 2019. The single’s success led to an interview on Adam22’s No Jumper podcast and a feature on Drake’s OVO Sound Radio. Killy released his debut album Surrender Your Soul on March 5, 2018, and it was certified Gold by Music Canada. Over the course of his career, he has released several other projects, including the EP KILLSTREAK (2018), the album Light Path 8 (2019), KILLSTREAK 2 (2021), KILLSTREAK 2 (Deluxe) (2021), Crazy Life of Sin (2022), KILLSTREAK 3 (2023), and LIFE I CHOSE (2024). He has been nominated for the Juno Award four times, including Breakthrough Artist of the Year in 2019.
