Killer Dwarfs

Killer Dwarfs are a Canadian hard rock band from Oshawa, Ontario, that formed in 1981. The ensemble consisted of the vocalist Russ Graham, the drummer Darrell Millar, the guitarist Bryce Trewin, and the bassist Ange Fodero. They achieved early professional recognition with their eponymous debut studio recording Killer Dwarfs (1983), which was nominated for a Juno Award. The group is famous for its offbeat sense of humor and for members adopting the surname Dwarf. Their discography includes the breakthrough studio recording Stand Tall (1986) and the studio recordings Big Deal (1988) and Dirty Weapons (1990). The latter reached number 151 on the US charts and featured the hit single “Doesn't Matter”. The ensemble performed as the opening act for Iron Maiden on a 1989 tour. After a period of inactivity starting in 1997, the group resumed activity in 2001 and released the live recording Reunion of Scribes: Live 2001 (2002). Their later work includes the studio recording Start @ One (2013) and the live recording No Guff (2018).
