Kie Kitano, born on March 15, 1991, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, is a singer and actress. She began her career as a member of the celebrity girls futsal team Miss Magazine, winning the Miss Magazine Award at age 14 in 2005. Kitano's music career started with the release of her debut full-length album å¿ in 2011, followed by Can You Hear Me? in 2012. Notable recordings include "ãµã¯ã©ãµã¯" and "è±æ". Kitano's acting career includes roles in dramas such as Life (2007) and movies like Happy Dining Table (2007), for which she won the New Actor category at the 31st Japan Academy Awards. She also received nominations, including Best Supporting Actress at the Milano Film Festival in 2014 for her role in The Tenor Lirico Spinto.
