Keoki

Keoki Franconi, born October 23, 1966 in El Salvador, is an American electronic musician, producer and DJ whose career began in the early 1990s in New York City after relocating from Maui. After gaining early experience at Danceteria, Franconi released his first EP Caterpillar in 1996, followed by the album Moonshine Mixed Vol. 1 the same year. His debut single "Majick" arrived in 1997, and the album Ego Trip was issued on January 29, 1997, establishing his presence on the club scene. In 1998 he issued Moonshine Mixed Vol. 2 and the EP Me, while Jealousy followed in 2001 and Misdirected Jealousy in 2002, the latter receiving a remix edition. Throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, Franconi performed at major venues such as the Viper Room, Shag, and Love Parade in Berlin, and toured the United States and Europe on the Club Party Monster Tour in 2006–2007. His tracks "Relax" and "Pass It On" were released as singles in 2001. In January 2017, Franconi entered a rehabilitation program after a legal incident, leading to the cancellation of forthcoming events.
