Shin Hyeon-chan, also known as Kenessi, is a Korean singer born in 1992. He debuted in 2019 with his EP Sun and Moon, showcasing stylish and captivating R&B music. In 2020, he continued his musical journey with singles such as "Boy," "Sunflower," and "Cloud." His second EP, Diary, released in March 2021, featured personal stories about love, memories, and life, resonating deeply with many listeners. In August 2022, he released the mini-album Black & White, expressing his passionate feelings about love through his distinctive melodic style. Throughout 2024, Kenessi built a strong indie fanbase with EPs like Complicated You, Lofi 01, and Seasons of Us. The following year, he released three EPs—Like Rain, Archive Spring, and Archive Bright—which showcased more mature musical depth and unique emotion. His track "Cosmic Spark (Feat. Floryy)" from the EP Pluto, released on September 24, 2025, debuted at number 9 on Melon’s Top 500 chart on its release day.
