Kedr livanskiy

Yana Kedrina, known professionally as Kedr Livanskiy, was born on October 4, 1990, in Moscow, Russian SFSR. She began her music career as a singer in the punk rock band Hesburger and briefly played drums in a sludge group. In the early 2010s, Kedrina co-founded the underground musical collective Johns' Kingdom, which sparked her interest in electronic music. Her debut single "Sgoraet," was released in late 2015, followed by her first EP January Sun in February 2016. She signed with New Jersey-based record label 2MR and released her debut full-length album Ariadna in September 2017. Her subsequent albums include Your Need (May 2019), Liminal Soul (October 1, 2021), and Myrthus Myth (March 7, 2025). Kedr Livanskiy's music is characterized by lo-fi electronic pop and indie electronic influences, often incorporating elements from '90s techno and jungle. Her lyrics are sung in both Russian and English.
