Kasenetz-Katz Super Circus

Kasenetz-Katz Super Circus is a musical group formed in 1968 by producers Jerry Kasenetz and Jeff Katz, combining various acts from Super K Productions. Their debut album, Kasenetz-Katz Singing Orchestral Circus, featured ten studio-recorded tracks and two live audience recordings. The concept included eight bands: 1910 Fruitgum Company, Ohio Express, Music Explosion, Lt. Garcia's Magic Music Box, Teri Nelson Group, 1989 Musical Marching Zoo, J.C.W. Rat Finks and St. Louis Invisible Marching Band. In 1969, Kasenetz-Katz Super Circus released their first single "I'm In Love With You / To You, With Love". Their second album, Kasenetz-Katz Super Circus, featured five groups: The 1910 Fruitgum Company, Ohio Express, Music Explosion, Shadows Of Knight, and Professor Morrison's Lollipop. Despite the concept of bubblegum rock mixed with classical music, their final studio album in 1969 was a commercial failure, leading to the group's eventual disbandment by 1977. Notable releases included "Quick Joey Small (Run Joey Run)", which reached number 25 on the Billboard chart and Classical Smoke. After disbanding, Kasenetz-Katz Super Circus released a single in 1977 titled "Heart Get Ready For Love / Jungle Junk".
