Kaori Ishihara

Known for her extensive contributions to the anime industry, Japanese voice actress and singer Kaori Ishihara made a name for herself through her work on popular series such as Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, Iroduku: The World in Colors, and Demon Lord, Retry! Born on August 6, 1993, in Chiba, Japan, she made her voice acting debut in the anime adaptation of the manga Yumeiro Patissiere in 2010. Before officially launching her solo career as a singer, she was also a member of the J-pop idol groups Happy! Style, StylipS, Team Dekaris, and YuiKaori. After leaving the agency Sigma Seven in 2017, Kaori Ishihara inked a deal with the Pony Canyon label and made her debut with the singles "Blooming Flower" and "Ray Rule," both included in her 2018 first studio album, Sunny Spot. The album peaked at Number 13 on the Oricon charts and was followed by her sophomore effort Water Drop, which reached Number 9 in Japan in 2020. In 2022, she released the EPs Plastic Smile, Starcast, Cherish, and Abracada-Boo, whose title track rose to Number 15 on the Japanese Singles Chart. The song was also featured in the soundtrack of the anime Kinsou No Vermeil.
