Kanye West

Kanye West, born June 8, 1977, in Atlanta and raised in Chicago, first became known as a producer for Roc-A-Fella Records, especially through his work on Jay-Z’s The Blueprint. His debut album, The College Dropout (2004), established him as a solo artist with singles such as “Jesus Walks” and “All Falls Down.” He followed with Late Registration (2005), Graduation (2007), and 808s & Heartbreak (2008), expanding his sound and commercial reach through tracks including “Gold Digger,” “Touch the Sky,” and “Stronger.” After the Grammy-winning My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (2010), he continued with Yeezus (2013), The Life of Pablo (2016), Ye (2018), Jesus Is King (2019), and Donda (2021). In 2024, he partnered with Ty Dolla Sign as ¥$ for Vultures 1, which debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard 200, and later that year the pair issued Vultures 2. In 2025, he made Donda 2 available on streaming services in a revised form, while the project associated with the title Cuck remained unofficial rather than receiving a standard commercial release. He returned in 2026 with BULLY, released through YZY and gamma; the album debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200 and Number 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. In April 2026, he returned to large-scale live performance in the United States with sold-out SoFi Stadium shows in California, though his planned Wireless Festival appearances in London were later canceled after U.K. authorities barred his entry.
