Kangen Band, a Malay pop group from Indonesia, was formed on July 4, 2005, in Bandar Lampung by Dodhy Hardiyanto and his friends. Their early albums include Yang Sempurna (2007) and Tentang Aku, Kau & Dia (2008). In 2009, they launched their third album, Bintang 14 Hari, which featured Malay elements and explored Javanese influences. Notable singles include "Jangan Nangka Lagi", "Ijab Kabul", and "Binti Ayahnya". Kangen Band has been signed to several labels, including Warner Music Indonesia, TA Pro, GP Records, and Wahana Production. Their discography includes albums like Jangan Bertengkar (2011) and a series of singles released between 2020 and 2022, showcasing their enduring presence in the Indonesian music scene.
