Kadebostany is the brainchild of Swiss DJ Kadebostan, self-proclaimed president of this imaginary state. In 2008, he first formed The National Fanfare of Kadebostany, which astonished audiences at numerous festivals with its blend of electro and more or less invented folk music. It was under this name that the album Songs from Kadebostany was released in 2011. Shortened to Kadebostany, the band released Pop Collection in early 2014.
