Junki Kono

Junki Kono, born on January 20, 1998, in Nara Prefecture, Japan, is a singer and actor. After graduating from Doshisha University, he participated in Produce 101 Japan, finishing ninth with one hundred fifty-nine thousand fifty-seven votes. This led to his debut as a member and vocal leader of the Japanese boy band JO1 on March 4, 2020, under Lapone Entertainment. In December 2020, he appeared on The First Take, performing acoustic versions of "Infinity" and "Voice", which were released as digital singles. Kono co-wrote the song "Touch!" for JO1's second studio album Kizuna. He was featured alongside bandmate Sho Yonashiro on SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]'s single "Outsiders". In 2025, he did the Japanese dub for the role of Jonathan in the film Snow White. He released a solo single, "Singing in the rain" which was JO1's YouTube project "PLANJ" on June 18, 2025.
