Born on March 18, 1992, Julián Daza is a Colombian música popular singer from San Carlos, Antioquia, who began recording in the mid-2010s with early backing from relatives in Los Federales, later gaining national attention with the independent single “Maldito Licor” in 2018. His breakout came with “A Media Noche” and “Qué Tal,” later compiled on the five-track A Media Noche – EP in 2020, which also included “El Que Peca y Reza” and “El Galán.” That same year, he issued his first multi-track set Maldito Licor and joined Uriel Henao and Los Federales on the collaborative album Corridos Prohibidos, which featured him on “El Que Peca y Reza.” After a quiet stretch, Julián Daza returned in late 2023 with a run of singles such as “Patrón de Patrones,” “No Está Pa’ Nadie,” “Usted Señora” with Yelsid, and “Te Propongo,” repositioning himself on Colombian charts and playlists. In 2024 he broadened his audience through marquee collaborations, releasing “Vamos a Hacer el Amor” with Jessi Uribe and the follow-up “Que Tal (Remix)” with Uribe, while the solo single “Dios Me Dijo” became a signature streaming hit; live versions of these songs arrived later that year, and he also guested on Sebastián Ayala’s “Vaciando Botellas (En Vivo).” In 2025, he pivoted to a heavy release cadence centered on the stage: the live EP Bendecidos (En Vivo) and the concert album Amiga (En Vivo) showcased a road-honed band and included cuts such as “Sin Fortuna” and “Se Me Olvida,” alongside a string of singles—“Mujer Que No Jode,” “La Reina” with elkno, “Niña Mala,” “Nací Campesino,” “Me Engañaron Los Dos” with Jhonny Rivera, and “Yo Soy Rico.”
