Jossie A

Jossie A (also branded as Jossie Air) is the stage name of José Tapia, a Chilean urban artist from La Ligua, Valparaíso Region. His recorded run began in 2023 with the single “Ando en la Naee” alongside Z Jocker, followed by “Vo Sai Po’” with ¥ EleK-47 ¥ and the multi-artist cut “Milloneta,” credited with ¥ EleK-47 ¥, Gabito Beretta, Elmagicvk, eziellaaron, and Caliz G. In the same early phase he linked up with producer Alu Mix for “Ñero Session 8” (2023), a track that later appeared on the Various Artists compilation Éxitos México 2024 (2024), as reports around that period placed him in Mexico working on sessions and collaborations, including time recording with Mexican artist Yng Lvcas. His 2024 releases tightened the “malianteo” lane he describes as his core identity: “Pa Ka No’” featuring GFOURY COMPANY brought together Jossie A, Lamelodiadelhampa, and producer Big Cvyu; “XIPETA” paired him with El Jordan 23 and Gabito Beretta; and “2 Peine” with Big Cvyu became his signature track and the clearest entry point into his catalog. He closed 2024 with further collaborations like “Juguetona” featuring Lewis Somes, credited with Big Cvyu and Caliz G and “Vamos Pa la Playa” with Standly and Lucky Brown. In 2025 he kept the momentum with singles including “Adictiva,” “Gata Fichu” with El Jordan 23 and L3tter, and “En qué topamo?,” then framed the era with his debut album CONDENAO AL ÉXITO Vol1 (2025), a 10-track set that revisits “2 Peine” and consolidates his trap-to-reggaetón influences into a single, street-coded statement.
