Josiah Leming

Josiah Leming, born March 26, 1989 in Morristown, Tennessee, and also known by his stage name Josiah and the Bonnevilles, is an American singer-songwriter. Raised by his mother and stepfather alongside eight siblings, Leming began playing piano at age eight and started writing his own music by thirteen. At seventeen, he dropped out of high school to pursue a music career, performing in clubs and coffeehouses across the Southeast. In 2007, Leming self-released The Paperplain EP and Her EP. His breakthrough came with an appearance on American Idol Season 7, where despite not making the top 24, he gained significant attention and later signed with Warner Bros. Records in 2008. Under this label, Leming released his debut album Come On Kid (September 13, 2010). After parting ways with Warner Bros., Leming continued independently, releasing albums such as Another Life (2011) and Listen Close Live (2013). He performed his first ever sold out headlining tour under the name Josiah and the Bonnevilles in 2024.
