John Reddick is a songwriter, musician, and worship pastor. He is famous for his music, which brings together elements of contemporary gospel and hymnody, as well as his uplifting lyrics of redemption and healing. John Reddick is the son of a pastor and church pianist. He was born in Memphis and grew up there along with six siblings. Throughout his youth, he played piano and sang in choirs, eventually starting to write songs for services. He moved to Nashville and became the worship pastor of Church in the City. Over the years, he worked as a songwriter with internationally renowned artists such as Sheryl Crow, Matt Redman, and Tommy Sims. After many years of writing songs for other musicians, John Reddick decided to start releasing original material. In 2018, John Reddick signed with TobyMac’s label Gotee, and issued his debut single “You Keep Hope Alive.” Recorded with producer Nathan Nockels and co-written with his fellow worship pastors Anthony Skinner and Jess Cates, the song attained some success, picking up radio play and appearing on streaming charts. This was followed by the single “God Turn It Around,” written by the same group. The song featured Matt Maher and peaked at Number 4 on Top 50 Christian Songs chart. Other hits followed with "I Believe (The Life of Jesus)" (Number 2) in 2023, "Don't Fight Alone" (Number 43) in 2024, and "No Fear" (Number 10) in 2025. Another version of the latter with We the Kingdom features in the album of the same name (ranked Number 29 in the Top 50 Christian Albums).
