K-pop star Jo Yu-Ri (조유리) was born on October 22, 2001, in Busan, South Korea and came to national prominence as a singer in 2017, appearing on the reality TV show Idol School. The following year she stepped out as a member of the now-defunct Japanese-Korean female idol group Iz*One, with whom she release several mini-albums, singles, and a full-length LP before the troupe parted ways in 2021. Following their split, she signed with South Korean entertainment agency Wake One and launched her solo career with the debut single "Story of Us," followed by "Glassy" – which charted on South Korea's Gaon chart – and "Autumn Memories" (가을 상자), a duet with Lee Seok-hoon that also charted in South Korea. 2022 saw the release of her first EP, Op.22 Y-Waltz: in Major, which featured the single “Love Shhh!” (러브쉿!)”.
