Jnr Choi

The Gambian-British rapper Jnr Choi was born in 1999 in the African country of Gambia and grew up in south-east London and Essex. He started his career as a professional model in the British capital before he accidentally began to dedicate himself to music. A friend of his had visited him and after posting a video of a freestyle rap online, he was encouraged to make music. Initially, he uploaded his songs online and in 2018 his debut single "Moves" was released, followed a year later by his EP 6 Days in Stockholm with the track "Undress", a collaboration with Mitchy Iris. The artist combines various subgenres in his music, creating the rapper's unique and unmistakable musical style. 2020 saw the successful singles "Belvedre", "Stunna", "Philippines" and "Excited", which were accessed hundreds of thousands of times on the Internet and helped Jnr Choi to gain a steadily growing fan base. in 2021, the musician released the tracks "Reality" and "Top of the League". The rapper's debut album SS21 was released in 2021. The song "Party Till Late" was released as a single. The song " TO THE MOON", a collaboration with British R&B and soul singer Sam Tompkins, was also released.
