James Gordon Cuddy, born 2â¯Decemberâ¯1955 in Toronto, Ontario, is a singerâsongwriter. After studying at Upper Canada College and Queenâs University, he formed the HiâFis with Greg Keelor and released a 1980 single that failed to chart. In 1984 the duo founded Blue Rodeo, which released sixteen studio albums. Cuddyâs career began with All in Time (1998), by The Light That Guides You Home (2006), Skyscraper Soul (2012), Constellation (2018), Countrywide Soul (2019), and All the World Fades Away (2024). Notable collaborations include "Whistler" and work with Kathleen Edwards and Jeff Tweedy. He received a Juno Award for Male Vocalist in 1999 and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2024.
