Jike Junyi

Jike Junyi, born Wang Junyi on 13 May 1988 in Ganluo County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan, China, is a Mandarin pop singer of Yi ethnicity. After graduating from the Department of Advertising Design at Chongqing Southern Translation College in 2008, Jike Junyi entered the music industry by participating in the first season of The Voice of China in 2012, where he earned third place in the national finals and signed with Tianhao Shengshi and Universal Music. His debut single, "彩色的黑" (2012), achieved commercial success and launched his recording career. Jike Junyi released the EPs After Party (2019‑10‑31) and Born to Rebel (2019‑12‑13) and the studio album Global Citizen Ⅲ (2019‑12‑19), all of which charted within the top twenty on the China Billboard Mandarin Albums list. His singles "我是女王" (2015‑04‑07), "空空山海" (2017‑07‑31), and "天涯" (2019‑03‑18) received extensive radio play, while "万物回响" (2025‑04‑28) added to his catalog of contemporary hits. Jike Junyi’s career has been marked by multiple awards, including the 2013 Huading Award for Best New Artist, the 2015 Cool Music Asia Festival Award for Most Innovative Singer, and the 2014 Music New Power Award at the Annual Music Chart, reflecting his consistent presence in the Mandarin pop scene.
