Jerry.K

Kim Jin‑il, known professionally as Jerry.K, was born in Seoul on January 26, 1984. A rapper and DJ, Jerry.K emerged in the Seoul underground scene, first gaining attention as part of the duo Loquence with Makesense. Jerry.K released his debut EP Ilgal in 2006 and followed with the solo album The Devil on July 2, 2008 under Soul Company. After later signing with his own label Daze Alive, he issued True Self on December 14, 2012, 현실, 적 on September 23, 2014, Emotional labor on March 15, 2016, OVRWRT on November 28, 2017, and RED QUEEN THEORY on September 26, 2019. His 2018 single "First Snow" added a melodic dimension to his catalog. Jerry.K died of glioblastoma on April 27, 2026, at 42, leaving a legacy in Korean hip‑hop.
