Jeffrey James Kollman

Jeff Kollman is an American guitarist from Toledo, Ohio. Inspired by bands including Kiss and Van Halen, and guitarist Randy Rhoads, he began playing guitar when he was 12 years old. He made his recording debut at 14 with the Ohio hardcore punk band The Stain, which was featured on The Sounds of Hollywood #3 compilation in 1984. In 1986, he formed the metal band VXN, which later morphed into Edwin Dare. Kollman released three albums with Edwin Dare between 1992 and 1998. After moving to Phoenix, Arizona, in 1995, he worked as a session musician and formed the all-instrumental progressive rock trio Cosmosquad. He collaborated with various artists, including Glenn Hughes, UFO offshoot Mogg/Way, and Chad Smith's Bombastic Meatbats.
