Jeff the Brotherhood, an American rock band consisting of brothers Jake and Jamin Orrall, was formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2001. The duo released their debut album, I Like You (2002), while still in high school. In the mid-2000s, the band released several albums including The Byzantine Empire (2005), Castle Storm (2006), and Heavy Days (2009). The latter received nationwide attention in 2009. Following a live album release on Third Man Records, Jeff the Brotherhood signed with Warner Music Group in 2011. Notable collaborations included working with Best Coast and Insane Clown Posse. Their album Hypnotic Nights (2012) was produced by Dan Auerbach. In 2015, the duo were dropped from Warner Bros. Records but continued to release music independently, including the album Wasted on the Dream (2015).
