J.B.O.

J.B.O., or James Blast Orchester, was formed in 1989 in Germany by Vito C. and Hannes 'G. Laber' Holzmann. In 1994 the band released their first single which received considerate airplay on local radio stations with listeners enquiring about purchasing an album. After realising they had a following, they recorded an EP titled A Good CD To Buy. Their second EP, Blastphemie, was equally well-received. The following year the band released their first full-length album called Explicit Poetry. In 2001, after embarking on their first solo tour, they released a live album called Live Sex. Throughout their career, J.B.O. has become synonymous with pop parodies, making themselves known to the world a something of a comedy act. Some of their most famous parodies are Motörhead's Ace Of Spades, I Want You To Want Me by Cheap Trick and Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life made famous by the stars of Monty Python.
