Jayel, whose real first name is Jassim, is a French rapper and singer from Neuville-sur-Saône, near Lyon. Passionate about music since childhood, he set up a studio in his bedroom at the age of 11 and began composing. After an unsuccessful attempt with Gims' label, he persevered and found his audience thanks to TikTok, where he shared his demos. In 2021, he reached a turning point with"Condamné à t'aimer", which racked up over 10 million listens and marked his transition to urban pop influenced by Dadju and Gims. He followed this up with"Ma Jolie" (2022), a track eagerly awaited by his fans. Active in the Orpik studio in Lyon, Jayel accumulates thousands of subscribers on TikTok and YouTube, reinforcing his ascent. In May 2022, he opened for L'Allemand at Ninkasi Gerland.
