Jay DeMarcus

Jay DeMarcus, born Stanley Wayne DeMarcus Jr. on April 26, 1971, in Columbus, Ohio, is a musician, producer, and songwriter best known as a member of Rascal Flatts. He attended Lee College and performed with Christian music group New Harvest before co-founding East to West in the early 1990s. After moving to Nashville in 1993, he transitioned to producing, collaborating with Michael English and later becoming bandleader for Chely Wright. In 1997, DeMarcus reunited with his cousin Gary LeVox to form Rascal Flatts, achieving massive success with 17 No. 1 hits and numerous industry awards. Alongside his work with the band, he has produced albums for artists like Chicago, James Otto, and Reba McEntire. In 2018, he launched Red Street Records, a Christian music label.
