Jannes

Netherlands-born Jannes released his debut single, Ben Jij Bij Me, in 1999. The success of the single allowed Jannes to record his first album titled Bella Bianca. With his second album, Van Casablanca Naar Napoli, came his first big hit single, Ga Maar Weg, which achieved him a top 50 place in the Dutch Charts. In 2005 he released Als Het Zonnetje Schijnt, his first album to reach the number one spot and with it a number three single in Een Beetje Meer. Subsequent albums - Laat Me Vrij, Mijn Naam Is... Jannes and Meer Dan Een Vriend - were all commercial successes and cemented Jannes' place in the world of levenslied.
