Jami Faltin, real name Jami Björklöv, is a Finnish rapper born in Tampere in 2000. Born into a Romani family, he grew up between Sweden, in the suburbs of Stockholm, and Finland, in Tampere. As a child, he began writing poems in Swedish, inspired by his life in the slums, and at the age of 16, he won the "Ortens bästa poet" slam competition, which launched his career on the Swedish poetry scene. In 2022, he released his first album, Kerrostalo, to great acclaim. His musical style blends trap, rap and influences from Finnish folk music, with lyrics addressing themes such as poverty, crime and discrimination, without glorifying them. Notable collaborations include ibe, Costi and Ege Zulu. His tracks "Kuolematon", "Still Tre" and "Magaluf" have met with great success on streaming platforms. In 2025, the hit "Helpompaa" reached No. 27.
