Jacob Groth

A former rock guitarist, Denmark's Jacob Groth got his start composing for TV series in the late 1970s. His first success came in 2000 with the series Rejseholdet(Unit One). This was followed by Unge Andersen in 2005 and Livvagterne in 2009, before his reputation became international thanks to his music for the Millennium trilogy. The following year, Jacob Groth was also commissioned to compose the music for all six episodes of the TV series based on the books by Stieg Larsson. In 2013, Jacob Groth starred in Dead Man Down, a thriller directed by his compatriot Niels Arden Oplev.
