Iván El Hijo de Teresa, a Cuban musician with roots in renowned ensembles like Manana Club, NG La Banda, and Adalberto Álvarez y su Son, went on to form his own ensemble, La Llegada, building upon a deep foundation in son and salsa traditions. In 2020, the group released their full-length album Santa Palabra, featuring standout tracks such as “Cuando Toca, Toca,” “Guanabacoa,” “La Vida Me Cambió” (featuring Maykel Blanco), “To’ Está Rico” (featuring Cristian y Rey, Aggayú, Abelito, Maichel & David Calzado), “Cazándote la Pelea” (featuring Manolito Simonet & Samuel Formell), and “Sin Son No Hay Salsa” (featuring Brayan Álvarez), showcasing collaborations with prominent figures in Cuban music. In 2023, they continued evolving their sound with the EP Si No Es Por Un Lado Es Por El Otro, further asserting their place in contemporary Cuban salsa. The following year, 2024, saw the release of the single "A Mi Tienen Que Dármela," keeping their creative pulse lively. In August 2025, they released the single “El Ego,” marking their latest chapter and reflecting the group’s ongoing vitality in Cuban salsa.
