Isgaard

Isgaard Marke is a German singer born in 1972 in Husum. She performed in the classical and pop genres. In 2003, she participated in the German pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest and reached seventh place with the recording “Golden Key”. Her debut studio album, Golden Key, reached moderate success on the music charts in Germany and the Philippines. Marke signed with Flat Earth Records and released the studio recording Secret Gaarden in 2004. She participated in the charitable recording “One World” in 2005 to benefit Misereor. Her discography included the studio recordings Wooden Houses (2008), Playing God (2012), Naked (2014), and Human (2019). She collaborated with the ensemble Schiller on the recordings “Ein schöner Tag” and “Dream of You”. Marke performed on the soundtrack for the film Island 63°-66°N in 2007.
