Isabella Lovestory

Real name Isabella Rodríguez Rivera, singer Isabella Lovestory was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, on November 30, 1993, and grew up in the United States, before moving to Canada. The daughter of a DJ, she spent her teenage years in Virginia, then studied in Montreal, where she began her musical career. She produced mix compilations online and released her first mixtape entitled Juguete in 2018. Over the following years, she imposed her own urban style based on reggaeton, Latin pop, hip-hop and club music through the EPs Humo (2019) and Mariposa (2020), while revealing a strong, liberating and provocative personality. Preceded by singles such as "Cherry Bomb", "Fashion Freak" and "Sexo Amor Dinero", the first independent album Amor Hardcore was released in October 2022, with production by Chicken, Kamixlo and Nick Léon. Well received by critics, the album is nominated for the 2023 Polaris Prize. Producer of the k-pop group Le Sserafim and collaborator with Mura Masa, with whom she performed at the Coachella festival in 2023, Isabella Lovestory embarked on a South American tour, the Laticonica Tour, and teamed up with Puerto Rican rapper Villano Antillano for the duet "Fuetazo". She then toured Europe and released the new singles "VIP", "Puchica" and "Telenovela", preceding the June 2025 release of her second album Vanity, also featuring the duet "Putita Boutique" with Taichu.
