Interplanetary Criminal

Manchester-born Interplanetary Criminal began his career as a producer and DJ in 2012 while pursuing his university studies. Initially active in his hometown's garage house and lo-fi scene, he moved to Leeds, where he refined his style by exploring dark breaks, influenced by Mall Grab, DJ Seinfeld and DJ Boring. Returning to Manchester in 2016, he released his first productions on SoundCloud, then signed his debut EP Intergalactic Jack to E-Beamz in 2017. Numerous EPs and singles followed on established labels such as Shall Not Fade and Timeisnow. In 2019, he founded the ATW label with Danish DJ Main Phase. At the same time, he performs on major stages such as the Warehouse Project and Parklife. His international breakthrough came in 2022 with the track "B.O.T.A. (Baddest of Them All)", co-written with Eliza Rose and inspired by the 1973 film Coffy. The track reaches number one in the UK charts, becoming the first number one for a female DJ in over twenty years. Her discography includes landmark EPs such as Sleepwalker, Darkside and In My Arms, as well as a series of acclaimed remixes on the UK garage and bass scene.
