Infected Rain

Infected Rain is a nu-metal band from the Republic of Moldova that was founded in 2008. The founding members include singer Elena "Lena Scissorhands" Cataraga, guitarist Vadim "Vidick" Ozhog and Ivan "DJ Kapa" Kristioglo. In August 2008, the band appeared for the first time at a Slayer tribute show. The debut album Asylum is released in 2011, followed by concerts and festival appearances. Infected Rain play with Dimmu Borgir and Mötley Crüe, among others. The second album, Embrace Eternity, follows in 2014. With 86 (2017), Infected Rain's fame also increases internationally. This is followed by appearances at festivals such as Rockharz, Summer Breeze and Riverside. In 2019, Infected Rain released the album Endorphin. Three years later, the band entered the German charts for the first time with Ecdysis at number 55. After the live album The Devil's Dozen (2023), Infected Rain released their sixth studio album Time in 2024. The longplayer reaches number 83 in Germany.
