Indila

The French R&B singer Indila was born Adila Sedraïa in Paris on June 26, 1984. Her family has roots in Algeria, Cambodia, Egypt and India. The musician adopted her stage name because of her love of India. Before she started her solo career, the artist was already featured in various tracks by different French rappers. These include the songs "Criminel" (2010) by TLF and "Thug marriage" by Rohff. In November 2013, Indila released her debut single "Dernière danse", which reached number 2 in the charts in Belgium and France. Shortly afterwards, her debut album Mini World (February 2014) is released and climbs to the top of the charts in France and Belgium and reaches number 11 in the Swiss charts. Also in 2014, the R&B singer was honored with the European Border Breakers Award. The single "Parla á ta tête" is released in summer 2019. Indila can be heard as a guest singer on the single "Carrousel" by French-Israeli singer Amir in April 2021.
