Inabakumori, born Takashi Inaba on February 25, 1995, in Fukuoka, Japan, is a musician, producer, and songwriter known for his work in J-rock and rock music. He began publishing his compositions on the Japanese platform Nico Nico Douga in 2011 under various pseudonyms such as InabaPukari and PUKARI. His breakthrough came with the release of "Secret Music" on YouTube in 2016, which gained significant traction after the viral success of "Lost Umbrella" in 2018. This song's popularity on TikTok marked a turning point in his career. Inabakumori released his debut album ã¢ã³ããµã¤ã¯ãã³ (Anticyclone) in November 2019, followed by his second album ã¦ã§ã¶ã¼ã¹ãã¼ã·ã§ã³ (Weather Station) in March 2022. Notable singles include "ãã¤ãããã³" (2017), "ã©ã°ãã¬ã¤ã³" (2020), and "ãªã¬ã¤ã¢ã¦ã¿ã¼" (2023). He has collaborated with illustrators like Nukunuku Nigirimeshi, whose artwork featuring the character Osage-chan became a staple in his music videos. Inabakumori's work has been recognized with awards such as Number 1 in The VOCALOID Collection ~2023 Summer~ for "ãªã¬ã¤ã¢ã¦ã¿ã¼" and the Niconico VOCALOID TOP20 of Billboard Japan.
