In 1980, they released their second album Camino Del Ãguila, showcasing Brazilian and Arabic influences. Imán Califato Independiente reunited in 2006 for a series of performances and the release of 30 Aniversario. The band's legacy includes notable collaborations with artists like Lole y Manuel and appearances at various festivals across Spain.
