I'm Not A Gun

I'm Not A Gun is an electronica group formed in 2000, consisting of John Tejada and Takeshi Nishimoto. The duo met in Los Angeles in 1998 while Nishimoto was studying at the University of Southern California and working as a session musician. Their debut album Everything At Once was released in 2003 on City Centre Offices (CCO), marking their entry into the music scene. This was followed by the EP Make Sense And Loose, which featured remixes from Tejada, Ulrich Schnauss, and Smyglyssna. The band's subsequent albums include Our Lives On Wednesdays (2004) and We Think As Instruments (2006), both released on CCO. In 2008, they released Mirror on Tejada’s own label Palette Recordings, followed by Solace in 2010, which returned to CCO. The group toured extensively, performing live in Japan, Los Angeles, and Berlin. Notable singles include "Sundays Will Never Change" (Remixes) released in 2005.
