Ida Laila, born Murah Ati on November 27, 1943, in Indonesia, was a dangdut singer. Laila's career peaked in the 1970s and 1980s, notably during her time with the band OM Awara, where she collaborated with S. Achmadi. Her notable works include a cover of the song "Keagungan Tuhan" by Abdul Malik Buzaid and original recordings such as "Sepiring Berdua". Laila received the HDX Awards in 1987-1988 for "Sepiring Berdua" and the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016. She transitioned to religious preaching from 1997 onwards due to the declining popularity of dangdut music. Ida Laila passed away on September 12, 2019, at the age of 76 after a six-year battle with illness.
