HYNN

HYNN is the stage name of South Korean singer-songwriter Park Hye-won, born on January 15, 1998, in Incheon, South Korea. She rose to prominence as a Top 3 contestant in the reality competition show Superstar K 2016. HYNN officially debuted in 2018 with the release of her single "Let Me Out." The following year, she released the single "The Lonely Bloom Stands Alone," which propelled her popularity and cracked the Top 10 of various music charts. The song eventually achieved platinum status by the KCMA. 2019 also saw the release of the EP Bad Love. In 2020, HYNN made her mark in MBC's King of Mask Singer, where she was crowned the Mask King, becoming the youngest participant to win this title at the time. That year she also released the EP When I Tell You Goodbye. Also in 2020, HYNN won the New Wave Award at the APAN Music Awards. She joined the South Korean all-female supergroup WSG Wannabe, formed through the variety show Hangout with Yoo. As part of the sub-unit Gaya-G, she contributed to the song "At the Moment," securing her first music show win on Show! Music Core on July 23, 2022. In late 2022, her first full-length studio album First of All peaked at number 41 on South Korea's Circle Albums Chart. In 2024, HYNN released the song "Not Alone" as part of the soundtrack to the show Doctor Slump.
