HUSKING BEE

HUSKING BEE is a Japanese punk rock band formed in 1994. The current lineup consists of Masafumi Isobe (born April 15, 1972, in Hiroshima) on guitar and vocals, Kazuya Hirabayashi (born October 17, 1973, in Tokyo) on guitar and vocals, and Tetsuya Kudo (born July 20, 1973, in Oita) on bass. Initially focused on fast-paced melodic hardcore, the band gradually evolved their own unique rock sound characterized by an emphasis on emotional melodies. Their 2001 single AUTUMNAL TINTS, released on September 19, features the track "Shinri no Kaze," which vividly reflects their musical style. Having released numerous works through labels such as PIZZA OF DEATH RECORDS and TOY'S FACTORY, they gained immense support as pioneers of the Japanese emo-rock scene. After disbanding in 2005, the band made a full-scale comeback in 2012.
